Ok nvm. Anyway I just thought our Sentosa Outing shld have a little mention here.

Been's a long long time (since June hols) that we meet up! Really glad to finally find a time where 6 of us can meet. It's kinda hard too huh?

Anyway, we went to vivo right after sch after ndp celebrations, and then waited for rest of Late People to come. Btw Me Joleen Huiting were the earliest so guess who the Late People (VAL ELIZ GRACIE) are.

Then we proceeded to Eliz's favourite Asian Kitchen where we had our lunch and presents giving (THANK YOU YOU ALL =D). Then we walk up to buy tickets to sentosa only to find that it was raining. So we spent how long ar walk here walk there kana attack by certain shop keepers (and ELIZ VAL AND GRACIE ALL SO SMART AR ALL RUN SO FAST AND FAR) deciding whether we shld go someone's house then finally go up and hurray the rain's stopped. so we got our tickets where again VAL ELIZ JOLEEN HUITING sat at some chairs and left me and Gracie to buy tickets those lazy bummies. (Ok now you have to start counting whose names have been mentioned the most times..) ;)

So we got to Sentosa, went to pavllion, played Bridge and talk a bit and listen to songs. then proceed to... The Beach! To take many many unsuccessful jump shots and nice lets-just-stand-there-and-pose shots. Then after, we went back, val and gracie left, and the rest of us four went to eat at cafe cartel.

Though yesterday was more like studying session but we still managed to talk quite a bit and irritate Eliz huh???? :)

It feels good to see people we havent seen for a long time. And yesterday me and Val were talking and comparing to see how each of us changed (Joleen apparently, didnt change much) and we decided the final competition lies betweeen Gracie and Eliz!

We met, study, had lunch at pizza hut, study/talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, Gracie came, joleen came, study/talk, talk talk, go mcdonal, eat icecream/drink coffee, go fish and co, give presents, talk, talk, food came, talk/eat, eat, talk, talk, talk, get the mint sweets, hid from Joleen, went to see movie timings, went to mini toons, went to a particular section in NTUC, laugh laugh point point, went outside, say bye bye.

Oh oh we like at the last 10 mins we realise we didnt sing bday song-.- haha so all of us did one line each, and cos there's 5 of us and only 4 lines, someone has to be the Clapper. Oh and we did chinese version too so there's more lines for us to sing.

DISNEY PRINCESS ON ICE! :D at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Wait till anghui and huiting post up the pictures of the stagnant smoke etc, IT WAS SO COOL!

The way the whole show flowed was amazing.. I can't believe how humans can be so beautiful and graceful on ice. HA but then again, looking at me, you'll probably protest violently.

We especially like the couple ice-dancing for Aladdin and Jasmine!

I think the effects for Sleeping Beauty was amazing too.

AND AND ARIEL! :D Eric and the boat crew were ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS with all the stunts ON ICE! They had my heart in my mouth at some parts-.- looked so dangerous luh.

Oh i randomly remember anghui and huiting commenting on a mother who dressed like Tinkerbell. o.o

All in all, it was a great day out with you three! :D

Sorry I couldn;t make it for the MOS burger lunch! (and missed that hot kissing scene you three were going on and on about) LOL. I can imagine how awkward it made you three feel. And to think anghui felt disgusted, means it was really "over". LOL!

HAPPY BIRD-DAY ELIZABIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um sorry I now very tired, so I cant type much.

But but, just now Val, Eliz, me Gracie and Joleen went to Suntec for dinner celebrations for ELIZ! huiting had cca so cant make it la. :(

But we had a good time catching up with one another, talking and laughing. Oh and we all had fun presenting our, quoting Val, unconventional gifts! Can go ask Eliz what we gave her.

We ate at Just noodles, where they had free flow ice cream, drinks and coffee! Then we went to Swensens cos theres a free ice cream there. but i think the best part was when we went up to the Fountain, where it apparently is the world biggest one in Guiness World Record, and like were all doing bits and pieces of the dances at school, and Eliz and Val make a perfect couple, and took pictures! I propped my phone against Eliz's and Joleen's and then set beloved self-timers! So we took a few while withstanding the spray of the fountain. (hey btw the water's super dirty! My face is coated with dirt and grime la! Disgusting.)

Anyway we tooka few lame shots too, and had a wonderful time laughing. By then it's like 8 30 or smtg, so we made our way off. then said goodbyes. Aww.

Hey really had a great day with you guys! I havent seen you all for so long (excluding Joleen haha) and the next time I see them is probably homecoming, except for Eliz. (hey I suspect there's gonna be lots of phototaking next Sunday!) I Miss you all so much la. Really wish times are old and we're in the same school.

I really hope Eliz enjoyed her presents! 17 year old le hor. Must take care of your health, eat more veggies but no mushrooms, dun be too demoralise no matter what happens and SMILE ALWAYS!

I got a weird dream last night!

I dreamt tt me, Eliz, Huiting and Val are in some room with a mat and a metal rail. Then I was sitting on the metal rail. THEN. Eliz told me : EH I go Arts stream!
Then huiting and Val: EH EH EHHHHHHH WE also go Art stream!

And I was like : WHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! How come I dunnoe? OMG Im gonna be left out Im not in Arts! EH WHY NEVER SAY???

Then the metal rail became rubbery and bended over, and I said smtg like : OMG Someone grab me or im gonna be catapaulted somewhere!

Ha, was soooooooooooo fun.
ALL 6 OF US went to Vivo!

Shopped around, ate Long John's. played at the playground, and watched IP MAN! Whoa, it made all the other KungFu movies I've watched become NOTHING compared to Ye Wen's (Ip Man, in chi) fighting.. We were all SO impressed luh! And the storyline was amazingly good. Exceeded my expectations!

:D after that we shopped somemore.. and saw a lion dance performance! :D There was this CNY thing going on, and we stayed on for awhile and saw a group of chinese dancers dance.. I've always admired how they do their 'tang! xD

OHOH, and we went to this shop.. couldn't remember the name, and saw this "30min free usage for customers but no porn surfing" computer at the dressing room area!! Gosh I don't think any of us laughed SO hard in months already! xDDD Val will post the photos of the self-cam function on that comp.. HA. I BET you'll laugh man!

Gracie and Huiting left at around 6 plus, and the rest of us CONSUMED expensive icecream and some other junk food before going back to Anghui's hse (:

Then, we watched Nanny Mcphee, had dinner, showered, huiting joined us, jol anghui and i played with cats, ate lollipop, watched Sleepover, had supper, crapped around, watched Alien VS Predator, slept, woke up and ate Nasi Lemak, changed, Val went home, the rest went to Hg Mall, Anghui met Terence, took bus, went to AJC's open hse, walked around, went back to anghui's hse, went home. LOL.

YAY. That;s EXACTLY what happened, if I didn't miss out anything HEH.

... I've finally, painstakingly finished uploading all the photos! Ah!

Elizabeth's sleepover, 2-3 Jan 2009!

(day1) ok. start with unglam photo. (the rest are nice!) this was taken during lunch-time at this noodle place. the victims of this tragic shot are obviously, un-ready.

staring at The Box. we watched 2 movies in a row! White Chicks (such a classic for us) and Shrek the Third.

We played the Game of Life! :D I WON!!!!!!!!!!!! (oh we played Cluedo that night too, and I won as well!!! (The 2nd round la. Gracie won the 1st round.) And that day when Anghui, Eliz, Joleen and I went to the botanical gardens I won Cheat too! (Anghui won too, for another round) But oh yay yay! ;D) (ok, nvm. like, no big deal right.)

Along the way (as in, the game of life), I did many amazing things too, like invent a new ice-cream flavour and discover a new planet! ;D aweeesome.

Joleen had the most $ in the end though (OH OH I KNOW WHY ALREADY! I KEPT PAYING HER!). So hm, maybe she won. But I finished first la.

we all got married on the same day at the same church (that white building there) and all the guys looked the same.

Okok I owe a bit of photos( esp for Eliz..). So, in a random order:

There's actually a few white birds on the tram tracks. The tram slowed down especially for them! Then move so slowly, and the birds just waddle or flew off so slowly. Can see one there, half walk half fly one??

Ultra disgusting scene: Eliz is feeding MEALWORMS to birds!!!!! ITS SO DISGUSTING! EWW. but she was so brave, no? (maybe it's a bird thing..)

At some..walk thing. Lory loft or smtg. Oh oh we saw these toy penguins, and they're pink, purple, and blue! Which is mine, Eliz's and Joleen's fav colours!

Oh this the Kids Playground. That rocking thing eliz's on is really quite fun leh. Plus I think we can still use cos it seems quite stable. (Eliz's off to meet her Prince!)

Im back from Hongkong!!

It was ok, but there were a few bad parts. =(

The flight there kinda sucked and the air stewardess/steward looked so FIERCE. Like, a bit irritated with us that kind of thing. So disappointing.

Oh ya one thing i learnt about HK is that the people there probably get bladder cancer or whatever when they are about, I dunnoe, 25 years old? You know why? COS. They have about zero public toilets there! Ok have la but I only saw like, 1. -.- Even hotels keep their doors out of bounds to outsiders and only give lobby toilet access to their customers. -.--.-.-.-.- The one we stayed at, needs the room card to enter. IF i have the room card would i use that toilet, which btw is located waaaaaaaayyyyy out of the way?!?!?!?! If I live there Im gonna my bladder is gonna stop functioning in 3 years.

Plus people there at Disneyland cut our queus and squished us forward cos they wanna rush in.

And they PURPOSELY (some) dun want to move aside cos they're in our picture. -.-

Grr.

Haha ok stop complaining. I was trying to look for the dried lizards val once took a picture of. But sadly couldnt find any. =( Maybe the lizards went extinct.

OH YA YA this is the part we sat down beside the river for i dunnoe like 15 20 mins? Throughout which Joleen consistently reminded can we go now? Can we shift to proper chairs far far away from the river now? HAHAHAH she was so worried and all of us just plain ignore her and continued sitting there, till according to eliz a red ant saved her. By like lifting her up in his strong arms and moving her away from the river. What a Prince Charming, Joleen!

Some pasta thing me Eliz Joleen had. You know the set lunches are quite ok, in reasonable proportions.

Yay a few girls namely Huiting Joleen Limin came over today. =D Played tons of Mahjong (joleen is SLOW), some aeroplane fly and kick your friends out thingy and pick up sticks. Then walked to Hougang mall again, where Huiting for her shoes. Good quality shoes, might I add.

Val's now at Thailand, she returning TOMORROW, but now thailand airport in a mess how? Is she Ok? Quite worried about her leh. Kind hearted Joleen sent an sms to her. DUnnoe if she got reply. But in any way, hope she'll return back safely la! Her and her family of course!

It's like after exams no one (including me) is blogging! And before exams, or during it there are people doing so. -.-

Anyway, grad nite was awesome. =D Joleen looked so different (I sort of cant get over the fact that she wore that kinda dress..) plus she has this really cool and um spray-ish looking ponytail thing. So diff right?
But, there's no dancing! -.- Very what la. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- It somehow makes the whole thing a little.. isolated. Like people who sat at that table just talk with those at the table, and we only mingle before and after the programmes.Then how can call Dinner and Dance?!

Hey guys! Sorry this is SO overdue... :)) Hope everyone's having a blast so far!!!

Now i realise that with this uploading of photos here in our pancake blog,it will unleash a torrent of possibly dissatisfied comments from most of the ladies featured above,that they may be particularly discontented with certain body parts of theirs,the amount of lipids they possess or simply lack of height... Anw, 4 of us Gracie Huiting Val and me went to the airport to send off our class's scholars (some). It was quite sad right, thinking we'll not see them any more till results day. I was dead tired after walking so long! Oh oh and we did what all girls would do on an outing: take lotsa pictures, laugh like nobody's business and make a nuisances of ourselves. It was really really fun!
Oh and we went into this chocolate shop, or was it the Cocoa Trees and browsed around. We went in twice and went in for quite a while, but, DID NOT buy anything. I think the salesgirl was kinda pissed at us, cos we kept touching the goodies and exclaiming blah blah about them. And we saw this really interesting and ironic sign. Got take picture of it, but lazy post up. Later! It's like, super super weird la the sign..dunnoe who in their right mind thought of that.

You precious little greenies beautify the environment, add a bit of green to this graying urban state etc etc. All of you exist silently, serving us without complains. Hence, I would like to express my ever lasting gratitude to all of your service, and would also like to apologise for my constant stamping over your fragile bodies plus letting animals pass their undigested materials all over you poor souls.

Of course, I must not forget the lovely and Gorgeous Grass Queen, Miss Gracie Origami Chinayabu Sabuhula Wahaha, who has so splendidly guided you grasses through your journey. She is incredibly hardworking plus fervent in her duties. She has a really infectious laugh, a really nice-sounding choir voice and a mature-ish dress sense.

HAHAHA. Today was funnaye!

Anghui, Huiting & I were in the toilet during the lunch break (what happened to the chem test, huh huh huh???) trying to "style" our hair, and we were crapping crapping crapping, talking nonsense & other random stuff which we always talk about, then suddenly *flush* went the toilet, and we were like, OMGOSH who's inside?! Who heard us talking?! O: X:

(& the cubicle was the one right behind us too. how come we didn't even notice it, huh? for 5min+++ some more. amazing.)

Then we were all like omgomgomg and ultra frantic, so we went to hide inside the cubicles, haha! XD & remained there till the girl (who was, thankfully, nice & ungossipy or sth) washed her hands & left.

then we finally dared to come out of hiding and then started laughing like siao. HAHA. ;D funny la.

We played ball games later on, at that room behind our "main classroom". Lay Hout came to join us after awhile. It was fun :D

I told a specific someone that Im gonna blog today about her, so here I am armed with garlic bread and milk! (ok that's not needed, but I looooooooooovvvvveeeeeeee garlic bread! Ah this blog need reviving!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HCL people just finished their REprelims for HCL. We(Ms Voluptuous, Ms Horrendous, Ms Enormous and Ms Auspicious) had lunch together. At the lovely Prata place at our school with shopkeepers that kindly allow our Bubble tea-ing there.

Ms Voluptuous had to went off due to tuition.=( Her presence is 'greatly missed'. (REALLY!)

Anyway, the trio of Horrendous Enormous and Auspicious finished those flat (and oily) dough-made food and had A WONDERFUL TALK. =D What did we talk about? Hmm let's see.

Overseas trips, weird spas and hot springs with people in birthday suits, strange bathing rooms, chalets, horrible chalet-huge-and-black-lizard experience, swimming, cycling, pushing CERTAIN SOMEONE into the pool and so on.

NICE TALKS MAN. And oh we talked about tv shows and movies! LAUGHED LIKE DUNNOE WHAT LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA LALALALAL. ^^ Didnt laugh so much with those two cutesies/lovelies/evilies for quite a while. Do hope that those kind of times will come often!

Oh yeah weird experience with dustbins or recycling bins! PEOPLE OUT THERE. Do note the difference between recycling bins for metal cans and dustbins, esp to throw your BBT cups. Experience goes like this:

Enormous: Eh look a dustbin! Anghui go throw.
Me: eh. OK
***** CLAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!!!!!!!!!*****
All thinking : What was that???

Me: Um. Why so many metal cans? OMG it's not a dustbin. It's a RECYCLING BIN! FOR CANS!!!
All: Hmm. OK hahahahaahha (and walks away)
Me: Eh. not very good la.

And I actually picked the two cups up from the bin!! And throws them in a proper dustbin.AND yes I did wash my hands immediately at home Horrendous!
So funny the entire thing. the clang was so loud that it got us a bit stumped like what the heck is inside? People musthave been laughing at us. I KNOW.
Cos we were laughing at ourselves. =D

ANYWAY. It's good to laugh what. ^^^^ =D =) And people, we must enjoy our school days! We've less than 2 months left in school!! Which actually is about 40 days. SO PEOPLE. DUN LET THE LAST 40 DAYS OF SCHOOL GO BY WITHOUT MAKING THEM MEANINGFUL AND FUN AND MEMORIOUS AND TOTALLY IRREPLACEABLE.

So the 401's photoshoot's on Friday?

That's BAD.

We have to what, bring our uniforms along to ND celebrations?! So we'll be wearing crumpled blouses and shirts and get all hot and sweaty trying to change in the toilet. Disgusting!
We're ending at 11 on that day (but as usual, schools ALWAYS drag such stuff.) So we'll get our photos taken at 12????? UNDER THE SUN. I saw this class taking theirs at 3pm today, and the sun was blazing. Imagine what it'll be like on Fri at NOON. -.- We'll be barbequed chicken, toasted MARSHMALLOWS and baked potatoes with cheese. (Nah Im just imagining the food I want to eat now. And the adj in front indicate that we'll be absolutely SIZZLING HOT when we're done with the photoshoot.)
AND AND AND. THE MOST IMPT POINT. -------------- I had a VERY GOOD hair day today!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH. Such a pity it's not taken today! My hair was actually un-messy for the entire day! (of course we didnt like, move around alot cos we had only 1 break) but ah well. =( On fri, I have this bad feeling that while we change, i'll perspire and mess up my hair, so people will have this messy and unglam pic of me in the year book.

Tsk tsk. And photoshoot sounds so...professional. Like models or smtg. Maybe the photographers will say:

'Oh hey that's a marvelous pose!'

'That's it tilt all of your heads higher!'

'Ok everybody I want you all to have this super united look and point to the lens. Ok? Ok good good good. Say cheese!'

BUt um, the photographers are from media Club right? Doubt they'll do that. Probably just wish that we can get it over and done with ASAP so they can go home.

(FYI, this gonna be a looooooong summary!)

We (me, joleen, eliz, val, huiting) met up at Dhoby Ghaut MRT> AHEM. Huiting was LATE. Ya tsk tsk.
Anyway, we took the mrt to Vivo, where we looked for a place to eat after walking into numerous shops, so ya the 'walk' to the Food is LONG. Plus we kept going like 'ohmygosh now THAT'S expensive youu could get it cheaper at blah blah place' and ' AHHHHHHHHHHH THAT"S SO GORGEOUS!!!!! oh. The price looks even more gorgeous.' =D Yes things are expensive!!

Anyway, we managed to settle at some HongKong cafe(finally) and ordered food. Which is like, 2 main courses are SUPER SPICY. Had to keep drinking the drink!

OH OH OH AND THE ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH. That was so so so so sweet? Right, an-invisible-Joleen?? =D Eliz went off to 'prepare', which is ordering it right? Then Val led me, Huiting led Joleen to the place. Val said I was walking FASTER than her, even though my eyes are closed. AH trust. ;) It was kind of a miracle I actually didnt bump into anything, cos I just walk on as I knew Val wouldnt like, bring me into a pillar cos if she were leading me, she'd go into the pillar too right? =P Oh and Huiting emphasised that she had to DRAG joleen along! Feel so sorry for her. =X I wondered how they looked like. Hm.

So Ben and Jerry have cool udder-looking chairs and lovely wallpapers of cows, and also brochures which looked like napkins. And the nice cosy corner we got allowed us to take photos like mad, wait for a very long time for Gracie who actually rushed down from the EXPO (WA!) to find us! So in the end we like, um, put the cookie in a paper bag and brought it to the mrt! The playground we passed by is really nice leh. Just a bit too hot under the sun.

So, we took MRT to Orchard, and on the red line, apparently Miss TANHUITING thought it was the stop, but it's actually Somerset. So you see 6 girls going out of one door of the train on the left and chit chatting and suddenly 2 or 3 voices screeched 'EH IT"S SOMERSET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and rushed in through a door on the RIGHT. It looks really comical I tell you. But only me and Val went in through the original door. And we sort of RAN into the train again, which isnt that neccessary since the doors didnt close immediately.

(AH i wonder if people are getting bored...Ok shall cut behind a bit.)

Got to FEP after getting lost, and walked around, shopped bought stuff got angry at a rude salesperson. We bought a lot!!! (ok actually, i think i was the one who bought a lot...other than Huiting who got like, erm 3 shirts???)

Yay! Then at bout 6 we went homeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOW: TIRED FEET< ACHING BACK. -.- I wonder if the rest are in the same state.

OOH OH OH AND action city is selling the most delicious buns!!!!! Go buy them and eat it!! Before they run out ok!

And oh, maths competitions? I've sworn off them since I participated in a NSW one in Pri 3 and couldn't do 9(200)8% of the very very interesting questions. I just died there in my seat for the entire hour - which felt like a century, really. Was ultra :D when it was over. & as expected, I got a (fabulous) Certificate of Participation.

Tragic, really (;

The Questions in the Math Competition.

I mean like, WHAT KIND OF QS IS THAT??? Or those,f or that matter. Are Australians like, maths whizs or smtg??!! So many of the questions are so so so difficult! AND GUESS WHAT.

NO calculators allowed.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH. ALL the numbers are like, SO BIg. And apparently they love the number 2008, so the number 2008 was used frequently by them in the questions. AND there's ALOT of square roots/perfect squares qs with really huge number so you have to constantly work out smtg like 69 X 69 or 44 x 44. -.- SOMEMORE. They purposely give the questions in such a way that there is NO WAY for you to work backwards. It's MCQ, and most of the time we use the options given to work backwards right???? But they'll make it such a way that it is near IMPOSSIBLE to do so. Just look at one:

A number is less than 2008. It is odd, it leaves a remainder of 2 when divided by 3 and a remainder of 4 when divided by 5. What is the SUM of the digits of the LARGEST such number?
a) 26 b) 25 c) 24 d) 23 e) 22

Another one:

25 different positive integers add to 2008. What is the largest value that the least of them can have?
a) 65 b) 66 c) 67 d) 68 e) 69

AHHHHHHH. Look at the second qs. What is LARGEST value the LEAST of them can have????!!!! How come largest and least exist together? I totally so DUN understand the qs la. And FYI, I dunnoe how to do both.

HMPH..... Oh well. Imjust gonna avoid this thing forever. Which I should have done in the first place. Waste my brain cells................................................

It's saying how the pro scientists in today's advanced society managed to uncover the art works beneath the paintings! As in, apparently Mr. Van Gogh reused his canvas many times, so there's like, layers and layers of art work below the final product. So in one canvas there could be like 3 art works, except the below two are being covered over.

Cool right???? Im kind of awed at today's technology! The scientists used this virtual 3 D image of the painting and literally peel of the layers one by one. Isnt it amazing?

YAY!!!!!!!!!! Today ALL the Pancakes went down for recess!!!!!!!!! Not pointing out in particular la, but really happy! Seems so united kind of thing. =) Gracie dun be offended!!

Anyway, maths lesson transformed into a photo taking session, cos mr lee didnt come. Anyway, I selected a few that well, arent blurred or have ultra UGLY things inside. (like deformed faces, scary eyes, pimples and exxagerated grins)

Cross Country at Bishan

Muddy, sweaty, fun, funny, crazy. The words I would use to describe today's cross country. (Eh I always thought cross country is like, across the country? Like super long distances of 20 km?)

The fields were horribly muddy!! All of us have these teeny mud specks on our legs, which makes us look like we came down with some weird disease. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

And I really am in awe of the competitors. I barely survived at at Fun Run, so can you imagine how they ran through 3.4??!!! Somemore I had no idea how the route was gonna be like, so as I run I kept saying 'ok it's ending..is it is it is it?? AHHHHHHHHHH Still got so long in front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'. I always thought we're ending, then I'll like, go up this higher part on the track and realise there's at least 200m more. -.-

Anyway, 401 planned to run as a class. Note: planned. Didnt really work out I think.. Cos at first we kept together cos the line of people were STROLLING, then slowly began to disperse. Like some ran in front, and me and Joleen just slowed down. TIRED. At first could still see all the 401 people but after a while Im only with Joleen, which I stuck with throughout the entire 2km. Passed by people like Christabel, Kailing Meijun (I think) and heard them cheering for the rest. (did they?? Cant really rmb. I was trying hard to keep my breath steady.) I nearly follow Jingya into the Cuda lane!!!!! And Meijun like, went into Scorpion lane i think. Haha. Ah well. At least we ran. Right Joleen?? I was dragging her along. She probably hates me now. =)

Valerie and Huiting are currently still at YMCA at the PESA thing. (I left early.)

It was an ok experience. We were LATE. We went in, and had to stand awkwardly well the then speaker talk, and then grab seats when he finished. Those speakers are really good. It amazes me how they can actually memorise their super long speeches, and not trip, not stumble, not stare off and forget their lines, do cool hand signs and use body language and basically talk like they've done that since they were 3 hrs old.

Btw there's this obvious boy girl ratio difference. I mean, there's like less than 5 girls???!!! And they were talking about some...gender discrimination/stereotypes thing.

AND.... Here's the literally yummy part!

Three of us decided to go off after chee kit finished the first part, and come back when he's about to start his impromptu speech. But I decided to go off halfway. ANYWAY. Let the pictures tell the story!!!!

How seeds get planted: Some plants spit their seeds into the wind. Others make seeds yummy enough for birds to eat, so they get pooped out on passing cars. Plants make way more seeds than they need, because they know that life is not perfect and all the seeds won't make it. Kind of smart, when you think about it.People used to do that too, - have 12 to 15 kids because they figured some would die, some would turn out rotten, and a couple would be hardworking, honest, farmers. Who knew how to plant seeds.

What seeds need to germinate: Seeds are inefficient. If the seed is planted too deep, it doesn't warm up at the right time. Plant it too close to the surface and a crow eats it. Too much rain and the seeds mould. Not enough rain and it never gets started. Even if it doesnt manage to sprout, it can be choked by weeds, rooted up by a dog, mashed by a soccer ball, or asphyxiated by car exhaust.

(It's amazing anything survives.)

We went to Xinthesis last night. It was SO GOOOOOOOOD LA. Chinese dance was like mesmerizing, especially the song of life or smtg. It was so like, WOW WA WOO kind of thing. The place was HUGE. And really huge. And high tech looking. (for more info, please visit valerie's blog)

We except Valerie who is Emcee-ing with Xinyu, had to, like, RUN all the way from the bus stop, up the overhead bridge, down the overhead bridge, all the WAY ACROSS THE VAST ...grounds. Ya couldnt find a suitable word. =X Ya grounds. And Hui Ting can share my mixed feelings about the exciting yet mentally detrimental run, cos both of us were like, OMG OMG our SHOES!!!!

Which are heels btw. =)

After that thing ended we waited around to give flowers. Oh and we had to wait some time for my dad. Sorry people =X Of course, everything was coupled with PHOTO TAKING.

Alright that's all the pics for now! (their order is like, most recent at the top to older ones at the bottom. I mean, they are packing at the top pic so you're can guess right?)

Anyway, the camp was fun , relaxing, enjoyable, a great time with friends, watch 2 movies, slept at 4 am and woke at 7am to eat mac, a 'i-m-trying-to-catch-the-ball' captain ball game in the darkening hours, and a really cool hide and seek!! (which me and val hid in some pipe/water closet thing, near the fitness corner which was said to be..ahem...haunted???) But the place wasnt dusty and dirty and has no roaches! So yeah the hear 45 mins wait there was relatively ok. Our whispers were LOUD. The ball game was ok too, though at first ppl keep missing the ball. Cannot see! Ya then we bathed, me and ht played stress (of cos shrieking rather....loud), and then we went for a movie!! (AVP2).

AND AND AND. We went out to lie down and watch the stars in the parade square andg uess what??? Me and Eliz saw a SHOOTING STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's this split second shot pass small tiny line star, and Eliz sort of like, squealed and OMG IS THAT A SHOOTING STAR??? MAKE A WISH MAKE A WISH!!!!

Erm, what else???? We left halfway of the second movie cos of lack of subtitles =)

Were all zombies the next morning, and lessons was tough trying not to plonk down and sleep. We played a few card games after that, and HOME!!!!!!!!

Ah yes. Well this blog was started cos of Valerie, so I guess we should thank her eh?? :) [I didnt mean it in a sarcastic way hor!]

Anyway, I think it's kinda obvious that I pretty much do not have IT genes huh?? And I think Joleen also.... Hmm. I rmbed I struggled quite a lot during sec one and two IT lessons, which I HATED la. Can never understand the codes and blah blah.

Shall leave the skin like that for now la. AND, in reply to val's post of rolling my eyes, I did not. Actually, I did this 'wide-eye-with-a-huh?!?!?!-feeling' look. ;)

Btw, I MANAGED to load pics from my phone to the computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did it, with great difficulty, perseverance, effort, and about 2 and a half hours. (another proof of hour un-tech-savvy I am..).

I am now super tired cos I slept at 2am. =(
Went out for supper with family till real late, then rushed home, got into a shower and fell asleep after tt.

ANYWAY.

ASEAN Night was SUPER DUPER REALLY ABSOLUTELY FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
None of us regretted going la. =) The performances rocked, and we really love the enthusiasm and cheering spirit everyone had for EVERY TEAM. We shld totally learn from them. The skit was lovely too!
We were 'dancing' to songs later, which made all of us sweaty and hot, cos the place is kinda humid. ( Digressing....HEY WE WALKED lke 3000000 KM to reach the BBQ area! We got off at Downtown East, and practically walked 25 BBQ pits' length to reach. The walk took like 45 mins??? And the return walk was a bit creepy.) But really, it was a very fun night. It's almost like a pub in touch with nature theme or something XD

btw, I came back to add that I feel really sad about the China and Myanmar natural disasters. It's really horrible, and there's a lot of people who lost their families and friends. Especially in China where people have only one child. I've read just now that there are people who trek long and exhausting distances in search of missing families. There's this mother whose son was working in a factory and she had been going there by foot everyday to wait for him He's been missing for 3 days.

It's like, really really really sad.. At times like this I feel fortunate that Im living where I am now.
I really hoped that those people whose lives have been affected by these disasters will lead a normal live asap. There's like a lot of problems that come after a disaster la.

My throat's kinda itchy, and it's affecting my right ear to be reeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllly itchy too. It's so irritatiing and rather worrying. I've ever scratch my ear till it bled, and I dun want it to happen again. So now my ear and throat are in this SORE stage.
